Rubix and I attended his third Stray Rescue Adoption Event today. We met several more foster parents and pups. Rubix made a new best friend, Drifter. And Rubix got lots of positive attention!

Rubix met Drifter upon arrival and the two played most of the three hours. Drifter is a beautiful terrier mix who is just a little older than Rubix. They were perfectly matched and wrestled on the PetSmart floor. Drifter had a very good day and might have found her forever family.

There were a lot of Stray Rescue dogs and puppies at the event. Lady Di was there with her three remaining puppies. Spence and Spam, two dogs Rubix has met at past events. More puppies, including Granola, a sweet beautiful shepherd mix. Plus Cooper Jo, Chimichanga, Chalupa, Audie, and a few cats too: Fluff, Puff and Maurice.

Rubix got noticed by a few interested families, one even took his photo! He was a little dusty from wrestling on the floor, I hope his picture looked ok. We also passed out his business card to a couple that saw him in the parking lot. Crossing our fingers and paws!
After a full afternoon of playing, I thought for certain Rubix would sleep when he got home...nope! After a quick nap on the ride home he was ready to play with his big foster brother, Brady. I keep waiting for him to fall over from exhaustion.
Oh...there he goes...finally, so sleepy...
