While I Was Away

Ryan had to work, Gwen babysat, while I went away for a week's vacation.

A few notes for Ryan and Gwen before I left for vacation...
Dog food bins are labeled and in the laundry room closet.  I will feed them Sunday morning before I leave.  Ryan will feed them breakfast each day and care them all day Thursday on his day off.  They expect dinner around 4:00pm.
Annie: just less than1 scoop/cup twice a day
Brady: 1 scoop/cup twice a day
Rubix: 2 scoops (1 cup) + 3 pumps of fish oil three times a day
Please refill the water bowl as needed.  If Brady and Rubix come in when called then please have them sit and give them a treat as reward.  Please don’t give Annie too many treats as she is watching her weight.

Buster and Lucky are welcome to come over and play.  If you take Rubix out on a walk/run please use the pink harness.

Please try not to leave Rubix in the kennel for more than 3-4 hours.  You may use treats to get him to go in his kennel.

The office is warmer than the kitchen, I recommend setting up shop in the office.  The dogs do well together in the office or you can keep Rubix alone in there with you.

Rubix will sit by the door if he needs to go outside, he may bark if you don't respond.  Accidents can be cleaned up with old towels in the lower shelves of the linen closet (or kitchen table).
Notes between Ryan and Gwen...
Hey dogs seem great!  They are very tired when I get home.  Thanks!
You betcha (we left at 8:30 ish last night, so they were well loved)
Erika asked me this morning if the dogs missed her.  I said yes but I'm not so sure.  They seem like they're getting a lot of love and attention to me!  Thanks again!!
So so so sorry about the desk chair foot.  He was at my feet, chewing on a toy.  He "drifted" to the chair foot; before I caught it, damage was done.
No worries about the chair!!!
They didn't even miss me?!?!?  Well, I missed them!  How couldn't you miss this face?
As far as the damage to the chair foot, just a few teeth marks.  It will be a long term reminder of my sweet Rubix.

It's good to be home!
